Results released Friday from polls in states with upcoming contests in the Democratic presidential race.

Listed above each set of results is the organization that conducted the poll, the dates, the number of likely voters (LV) and the margin of error (MoE). Results may not total 100 percent because of rounding.

WISCONSIN (Feb. 17 primary)

American Research Group, Feb. 4-6, 600 LV, MoE plus or minus 4. Results from Feb. 4-6 ARG poll in parentheses.

* Kerry 53 (41)

* Clark, quit race (15)

* Edwards 16 (10)

* Dean 11 (9)

* Kucinich 2 (2)

* Sharpton 2 (2)

* Undecided 16 (21)


OHIO (March 2 primary), Jan. 30-Feb. 10, 274 LV, MoE plus or minus 6.

1. Good news for Kerry
Bad news for the rest of the pack. If that poll holds, Ohio would be the first state to hand a loss to the homestate guy.

2. Dean is going to finish third in Wisconsin
I suppose he can keep going but the money is going to dry up, his rallies will dwindle, he'll go off the air and drift into obscurity. At some point Kerry will start ignoring him and focus all of his attacks on the Great Satan who sits in the White House.
