And its been 80% since Feb.9 - the numbers have not been updated for SIX days. From what I understand, Portland's numbers are not included.

:wtf:

(there is still the official results thread that gets kicked every day or so, but I thought that the first-week anniversary warranted a fresh thread on the matter)

1. Something absolutely REEKS about this.
I could have counted the damned votes by myself using a calculator, paper and pencils in a damned WEEK!

:wtf:

2. You can't count what you don't have
Local Democrats had until February 15 (today) to get their results to the state party.

4. That's pretty messed up, too.
This isn't a grade-school carnival where we're counting how many cakes Mary Jane sold, this is a caucus to determine delegates, ffs!

:wtf:

7. This defies logic
Edited on Sun Feb-15-04 08:35 PM by nu_duer
C'mon -

I'm sure DC and NV both have absolute final "deadlines" as well, but we knew the day of the vote the final tally in those contests.

And hasn't something been counted in the last six days? Either numbers have come in over the last six days and haven't been reported, or the remaining 20% are purposely waiting to the last possible minute to relay numbers.

Or the most unbelievable coincidence has occurred, and every outstanding precinct will only finish counting votes at the same time, at the last minute - today.

None of this is logical.

Whatever the explanation, something is most definitely messed up.

5. Today is the Deadline
Numbers should be viewable tomorrrow.

If not, something is rotten in Portland.
