The Spin Tank Is on EMPTY--What Happens Next?
Having pushed the envelope as far as it can go, Bush and his buddies have boxed themselves and their opposition into a very tight corner.

On the Bush side--there is nowhere to go except full-blown martial law/dictatorship--without an army at their backs. Or a nuclear first strike (either in Iran or at home).

On the Opposition side (our side, you know)--there is nowhere but Impeachment and/or civil war, followed by a major Reconstruction of Consitutional Law and deconstruction of the corporate power elite. Or serfdom.

Nancy Pelosi wanted to give the criminals enough room to get the hell out of Dodge in 2009--no confrontation, just leave already. Levin and other "statesmen in their own minds" wanted to give them second, third and thirty-third chances. Evidently no one could figure out a face-saving, fool-proof assassination plot. But the Bushler and Lord Vadermort kept pushing for more, and now there is no exit.

This was inevitable from the first cave-in in 2000 election theft. The Supremes declared sides first, really early, and Congress went along, filling all the courts with Bushbots, permitting the most egregious laws to pass and to stand, constantly doing the George McFly schtick.

So, here we are. What kind of war do you want to have?

1. Not to worry. We will experience a convenient "National Emergency".
Probably next Spring.

And then the Wise Ones will take care of everything for us.

Again.

Just think. No more messy elections.

2. This could go either way... I predict badly for Bush
The Bush Adm. hasn't done very well with major emergencies (Katrina anyone?). 9/11 was a series of screw-ups, but no one was in a mood to admit it.

Also, if the emergency is terror-related, it will deflate the sole remaining Bush apologetic: "he's kept us safe since 9/11."

3. "The Untouchables" is on TeeVee
I watched part of the movie and realized even with the Cops bought, the court bribed, and well-paid guns and muscle one person stood with persistence and bravery. Elliot Ness believed he could make a difference and DID!

Bush, Cheney and Rove are are the NeoUntouchables and the right person is needed to stop them.
