My wife works on the block next to where that explosion happened in New York. She is fine, but for ten agonizing minutes I could not reach her to make sure she was ok. All I saw was videotape of asbestos flying through the air, people running out of their shoes and a no good media I did not trust. Now let me make this very clear. I am not the type to panic. I am proud to say in times of stress/crisis, my friends and family tend to look to me. But in george bush's Amerika yesterday, where up is down, right is wrong, the constitution has been reduced to toilet paper, and we have so many new enemies in the world I was SO worried. AND IT WAS DOWNRIGHT FRIGHTENING THAT I COULD NOT TRUST MY GOVERNMENT.
In that small amount of time I could not reach her, SO many awful thoughts flew through my head that I never would have thought of before the hijacked election of 2000.
I wished there was a President Kerry, Gore, Clinton, Obama, Kucinich or any other dem that would get on tv and tell me the truth! But I learned a personal lesson yesterday. No matter who gets the nomination for our party, I am going to do my absolute FUCKING best to help get them elected. Although I have big problems with some of our candidates, I am sick of this shit now more than ever!
