... it's going to be Bush's Dick against Kerry's penis.

18. I think we can rule out Toby Keith!
Hi, CQHayes. Long time no see.

If Kerry is our nominee, I predict he'll choose Evan Bayh of Indiana -- who was the Democrats' keynote speaker for our last convention.

Bayh would help solidify the northern industrial states, would not hurt in New England, & would help a little in the West. There's an outside chance that he could help carry Indiana. He has twin sons of about (?) 6 years old -- something like that.

Who I'd prefer that Kerry choose is Max Cleland of Georgia, mainly because Max is awesome but also to ram it down Ralph Reed's throat. Reed smeared Cleland in the last Senatorial election in Georgia and I'd like to see a good man returned to public service.

A second choice would be Jay Rockefeller of West Virginia. He's somebody who could kick Cheney's butt all over the South.

strong man, could help Kerry win the South. He also has an excellent military record, unlike Bush...and Clark served his term and his country and never went AWOL.

28. Clark for VP

While I know in my heart he should be president,we'll accept him for VP.
Hope Kerry is listening.

Kerry-insider
Clark - outsider

Kerry - wife/marriage issues,wife classy and rich,children A+
Clark- same wife,so supportive, child A+,grandchild for the senior vote

Kerry - has to run on his record of supporting No Child Left Behind etc.
CLARK - record in the military perfect

Kerry North
Clark - South and more importantly an International Person

Kerry - boring to listen to , bright, looks OK
CLARK - so intelligent, easy on the eyes, inspiring to listen to

Great Team

YEA CLARK!:bounce:

26. It's going to be Hillary Clinton. I'd like it to be Richardson.
I will be thoroughly surprised if the running mate is not Clinton. It would go against everything I know about Hillary's presidential ambitions. It would really get the Dem base in motion, too.

Richardson would be a good choice because of his DOE experience. He knows how to handle proliferation and set a sound energy policy. Unfortunately, he lacks the name recognition.

UGH
Can we have one presidential election without a Clinton getting all the election? Please?

Clinton as Kerry's running mate is one of the few things that would turn this lifelong Democrat away from the party.

32. I honestly think it's not even remotely possible.
We'd basically kiss away any potential crossover votes we could get from disgruntled Republicans, and I think there is still too much anti-Clinton sentiment out there for her to be seriously considered.

And, unfortunately, I don't think the country is quite ready for a female VP.
