1. Unfortunately, I don't think DMC was right. Edwards said he was referring to smaller # of debators.
He says now that he would like to see them divided into two groups. If him and Hillary were talking about cutting the number of debates. He would have said that instead.

11. Split into 2 groups for better debates, not exclude anybody. C'mon Dennis.
From Huffington Post

"For his part, Edwards told reporters in Iowa that he wasn't in favor of barring anyone from future gatherings. Rather, he said he wanted to see them separated into two groups of four each, chosen randomly.

"The result would be that we would have a much more serious discussion and people would actually be able to see what the differences are between us," he said.

12. Quick thinking on Edwards' part?
Its easy to clarify meaning after the backlash has already started. His was a cleverly crafted response. But was it the truth?

15. Too quick maybe
He should have spent some more time and made sure his story matched what was said on the video. He clearly said that some candidates were not serious. He needs to say who he was talking about and how his supposed idea of randomly splitting into groups would address anything.

16. Or he was saying these farces known as "debates" are not serious
Because of the obvious problems with them and that having a rotating, small number of candidates in debates would allow for just that, actual debates.

14. I'd expect Hill to do that no matter what they were talking about
She's nothing if not a consummate politican.
