right now (10 AM EST)

He's doing very well, answering tough questions easily.

2. They were all tough...
Very personal questions, like "Are you bitter? Do you feel like Kerry stole your message?" "What are you going to do?" "How do you feel about the crowds thinning out?" amongst other things. He did very well...was very proud of him.

It looks like he's gonna stick around, but maybe won't be taking money anymore. I noticed that the 50 bucks I gave him for the WI comeback bat hasn't been taken out of my account yet. Anyone else notice that?

7. No, that transcript is from December....but it is a good one!
My favorite part:

SNIP...."Let me -- can I just take one second and read something George Bush's father wrote in his book? This is about the first Gulf War. "To occupy Iraq would instantly shatter our coalition, turning the whole Arab world against us, and make a broken tyrant into a latter- day Arab hero. It would have taken us way beyond the imprimatur of the international law bestowed by the resolutions of the Security Council, assigning young soldiers to a fruitless hunt for a securely entrenched dictator, and condemning them to fight in what would be an unwinnable urban guerrilla war."

George Bush's father had it right.
We could have contained Saddam Hussein indefinitely. We were flying over his country. He had no air force. We were bombing him when we needed to, in response to anti-aircraft fire.

I thought it was a mistake to go into Iraq. If we had gone in, we should have gone in with a real coalition, the way that his father did, and not do it unilaterally......"

5. He answered the questions quite well.
He will still be around, enough money for a while, reassessing strategy, mentioned Florida on March 9th. There are many like us who feel strongly enough to keep donating, and he is aware of that.

He will be under pressure next week, but he does not sound like he is especially intimidated. He said change takes a long time, and it is a lot of hard work.

I thought he did quite well.

His son's team won their game last night.
