Robbstrodamus on the next 2 weeks:
According to the grounds in the bottom of my coffee, here's how it's gonna play. :tinfoilhat:

1. Polier "story" goes large on Tuesday. I know personally one of the reporters who has been writing on this stuff so far, and believe me the guy is NOT a GOP plant. He's probably got a Kucinich sticker on his car. What we saw this weekend is the click-click-click of the roller coaster going up the track.

2. By Wednesday morning, Kerry will have to say something. And everyone is going to replay it. Every single one of the pundit shows will talk about it, weighing what it means for his campaign.

3. By Friday, Kerry will be convinced by his staff to "clarify and expand" on whatever he said Wednesday morning, and THAT little soundbite will be the topic of the weekend shows.

4. Tuesday the 17th, WI primaries, Kerry will win. But not by much.

5. 19th, 20th, and into the weekend: headlines are "Is Kerry Finished?" Polier story vanishes.

6. 24th, HI, ID, UT primaries. Kerry wins one, Dean wins two.

7. Beyond that, it becomes "clear" to the pundits and the press that the Democratic party is "facing a split" and "losing its relevancy". Hell, Kerry will still probably sew up the nomination. But the damage to the party is already done.

Just wanted to get this in print in case the coffee grounds are right. I hope not, honestly. But there it is.

1. I love your click-click -click analogy

And I tend to agree with you.

But there is a critical factor: SOMEONE is going to get an interview with either Alex Polier OR her "friend" and there will be more.

I am betting that Theresa Heinz has offered them all (Bookoo) Beaucoup bucks to shut the hell up except to HER.

I think the story of Polier running to Kenya has legs.

And I know that reporters are camping out near her "boyfriend's" parents, home.

It is also intersting that one report had them on their honeymoon in Israel some time back and another story that she was "om assignment" for AP in Kenya.

She is apparently NOT on assignment (although that will cme out for sure) and she is NOT married (so she cannot have been on her "honeymoon".

If there is no truth to the story she will have to say so.

Until she absolutely denies it -- this story has legs.

And If it is true I do not think she would risk her career credibility by lying for that jackass Kerry.

CAN I ask what medium your friend is in, Oh master Robbstradamus?

2. Polier's credibility is low.
I've read that most major news organization won't believe the story because Polier is in a hate mode with Kerry, and is acting like a woman scorned. Not exactly the best source for a balanced view of what really happened.

4. got a link for that?

She seems like a decent reporter and if "scorned" by Kerry I suspect it is because he wants her to lie for him and that will ruin her credibility as a reporter as there are "others" who know the truth AND there are apparetnly letters.

Just a really CT concept: could this be a Sharonian (as in Mossad) type effort to keep Bush in office to help Sharon and the fascists on the right in Israel?

These IS an interesting Israel connection as she allegedly "honeymooned" there (though she is not married) and her fiance's parents are apparently Israelis.

Not being paranoid -- but it is an interesting angle.

If the goal is to damage Kerry in the general election with an UNTRUE allegation, then the story will NEVER get clearer in the media. It will remain a murky mess.

Also - isn't Theresa from Tanzania? That is right next to Kenya. Does Theresa still have Peeps there? It IS a little strange that she would flee to Theresa country (but maybe I am confused on this (BRB to check )ON EDIT - Nope - It is Mozambique - one country away from Kenya

7. Where did you read that? There has been so little written about this,
and I definitely haven't read that. And she certainly isn't acting like a woman scorned (that cliche being that she's would be talking to the press alot, like Gennifer Flowers).

6. For the sake of a credibility test, can you give us the paper
your friend works at so that we can confirm that you're legit (which will confirm by seeing the story in that paper on Wed).

He loses WI big, does not drop out. Becpmes the Dem's personal edition of Nader, and about as popular with Party activists.

Kerry cuts deal w/ Edwards who drops out and will be running mate.

Kerry wins evey primary.

Country yawns at intern story. Kerry beats chimp by three. America saved.

Dean starts company selling color coded orthopedic hats.
