2. It's on the Sundance Channel too, if you have it
Much better to watch it big than online...in my opinion.

6. It works
You just need to follow the instructions. Takes about 15 seconds to download the flash software and the live music is yours to enjoy!

13. On a day when there is so much else going on
It's surprising they managed to fill Wembley stadium when Wimbledon is reaching its climax and on the weekend when Lewis Hamilton gets pole position at Silverstone- you'd think the English would have too many other distractions.

10. Not a Black Eyed Peas fan AT ALL
Edited on Sat Jul-07-07 11:50 AM by Catch22Dem
But I appreciate the message they spread. They played at the Democratic National Convention in 04 too.

ON EDIT: Let me rephrase, I'm not a fan of their music, but they seem like good people.

18. Actually, I thought they were really good today.
And in the past, I was not impressed by them. I guess they got better....or maybe I am more open to them. Who knows?

25. Flea .....
BEST bassist in Rock today ....

Les Claypool runs a damn close second, though more eclectic and therefore more obscure ...

Flea's energy is limitless .... his chops are solid, always on time and always sublime ....

29. Victor Wooten
I don't know if you'd call him "rock" but he's one of the best to put that instrument in his hands and plug it into an amp.

17. Internet is the best way to watch
Edited on Sat Jul-07-07 12:04 PM by Oreo
Universal HD is showing too many commercials.

I've watched Genesis, Duran Duran, the Chili Pepper and several others... looking forward to NY getting started.
I have a tab open for each venue in my Firefox. When one band stops I goto another city. Gotta love it.

28. Abingdon Boys School Band
The most insane (but very talented) band I've seen on Live Earth. A Japanese, kilt wearing, rock n roll band.

30. Fucking MSN sucks...
Apparently non-IE non Windows users can fuck off. Godsdammit, I just got rid of Windows because it corrupted one of my disk drives and erased the partition table. Tried reinstalling, no dice, wouldn't even boot, so now I'm Linux only, and while the "Alternative" player loads, it refuses to stream.
