Huge thanks for Kucinich for raising Katherine Gun story
Just discovered that Kucinich initiated a congressional letter to Blair, demonstrating support to Katherine Gun - the whistleblower from GHCQ who leaked an NSA memo about spying on the UN. The Observer today has tried to give this story a few more legs with the Mexican ambassador has revealed that the US scuttled a peace initiative from six security council member countries.

(see my post in LBN for more on the Observer:

)

for a copy of the letter see:

If Kerry, Dean, Edwards and Sharpton could bring up this story, it might finally get the legs its deserved for nearly 12 months.

1. We don't deserve Kucinich as president.
He's to good for us.

4. Sadly, if it wasn't for DU I'd hardly know him
Although the British press has covered the primaries reasonably extensively, both he & Sharpton have barely scraped a mention.

(I'm even pissed off that the Observer article today fails to acknowledge Kucinich as a presidential contender ("The Congressional letter was signed by House Judiciary Committee ranking member John Conyers Jr from Michigan. It was initiated by Dennis J. Kucinich from Ohio and also signed by Raul M. Grijalva from Arizona, Janice D. Schakowsky from Illinois and Lynn C. Woolsey from California."))

5. It is so sad.
I have long tried to not be paranoid about this. I thought at first he was just unknown, I didn't know about him before the Prayer For America. I figured he would pick up support as he got out there but then I kept wondering when he was going to start getting press. I now hold the belief that others have talked about for a long time. He is the biggest threat to the powers that be and he had the guts to call the media on their shoddy reporting. God, I love this guy.

7. Again, and again, and
again, and again.

When you follow Dennis around to see what he's up to, these things pop up on a regular basis. You can be confident that when he sees an injustice, he will speak up. He will work to address it. A model for what a better America will look, sound, and act like.

3. Yet another reason why we need DK in the White House
Who else is talking about these issues, besides a few left-leaning publications? Where are the other Democrats on this issue?

If you answered "as AWOL as Gee Dubya Bush in 1972", you're correct!
