Here's hoping for a dem victory in November.
While my candidate of choice has been Dean, it seems that Kerry will be the inevitable winner, not that I have anything against Kerry but well, I just prefer Dean. That aside, should Kerry win, I will support him. There are just a few requestis I have for him.

Senator Kerry, these are my requests:

1) Get a can-opener. Why? So you can open up a can of whup-ass on * come November. Keep hitting him, on every single front. Take him to task.

2) Should you win the election, make sure that everything that happened over the last 4 years is thoroughly investigated. 9/11 intel, AWOL, CIA leak, Enron, Halliburton, etc.

3) Be the opposite of Bush as president. You talked about needing to invent a solution with our oil problems. Meaning that we need to invest in alternative fuels and renewable energy. Do that. Be a president for the people, and not for corporations. Keep your promises, and help us move this country forward again.

2. A win for Chimpy?
Then we've all got to admit there is something seriously, very seriously wrong with this country. A continuation of the Bush Crime Family's control of the reins of power can not possibly be the choice of the people. If the election can be stolen again, we all better be angry, very angry. In this case, the revolution will be televised..

4. Agreed. These and others are what I have been
looking for from Sen. Kerry for months now. I do not believe he will lets us down. I am really looking forward to monthly press conferences with a President who has no evil agenda, nothing to hide and can articulate. How refreshing.

8. That's what I'm talking about! Great Post!
Point 3) is the key to me. This is where we reinvent America's future...and finally put the influence of Republican Oil on our energy/national security decisions behind us. The future contrasts ought to be clear to all:

Republican Vision = Oil = War = No future

Democratic Vision = Alternative/renewable energy = jobs/infrastrucure rebuild = a real future.

I enjoy posts like yours. It makes me believe that fences can be mended and Bush be defeated.
