1. don't want him left out
Until a moment ago, this was the only candidate thread with no postings. That's not what I would expect on a progressive website.

This little Green officially wishes Sharpton good luck in the DC primary. I hope he can get some good wishes from his own party before too long!

4. Go Al!
I agree with you on almost everything. And we all know a couple of reasons why the media refuses to take you seriously.

6. I'm a DK supporter, but...
...I want to wish Rev. Al well. I think his presence in the race (especially in the debates) is much needed. The Democratic Party establishment takes its progressive wing for granted, I want both Sharpton and Kucinich to do well and stay fighting until the convention.

8. Some delegates for the Reverend!
20% in DC. Ahead of Dean. Very impressive.

9. Sharpton was the only candidate campaigning in DC
yesterday, but of course, neither Sharpton nor DC matters, as Sharpton voters and DC voters would be the first to tell you.

Still, we campaign. We vote.

10. I see.
Even though Sharpton got delegates from DC, yours was the only overnight expression of support. Therefore, I'm inclined to agree with your claim.

You may recall that of four candidates who agreed to show up at a forum in Detroit, he was the only one who did.

What do D.C. and Detroit have in common besides this, I wonder?

11. Detroit City and District of Columbia. Let's see.
Must be their initials they have in common.

Yes, Iverson. I do recall the no-show forum. And believe me I won't forget it.

12. along these lines ...
Since the obvious connection is the capital D, it raises the question as to why they weren't candidate magnets.

I mean, it's a D! See? (point, point) See the D?
I mean, I keep hearing that that is the only meaningful thing, and you can't get 100% of what you want 100% of the time, a revelation indeed.

13. It is as if people want more of the same damn thing,
with only slight ameliorations, in spite of all the evidence, against this. Is this really the democratic underground? Doesn't sound like any underground I've been in.

Oh, the big D. All the way with LBJ. I guess it's like John Lennon himself put it. Whatever gets you through the night.
