Overheard Republican conversation at a restaurant-they're scared!
Seated behind me tonight at dinner (in Lake Oswego which is a VERY Republican part of Portland, Oregon) was an old retired couple and they were talking about stuff when it suddenly turned to Bush. My ears perked up and I listened in to some of what they were saying:

old man: "Bush might as well give up if he lied about what's in his TANG records because that's worse than lying about sex."
old lady: "Well Kerry has a girlfriend in Kenya."
old man: "Where did you hear that?"
old lady: "On Rush, Fox and O'Reilly. Also, her parents said that Kerry is a real scumbag"
old man: "Well if it's true, then Bush had better start using it because I think Bush is going to lose big."

This is great! They are really scared about losing in November in a free and fair election. I love it! The Dem's and Kerry need to keep up offensive to keep them on their heels. Never give up the initiative!

1. Notice the woman followed up the man's statement
about lying about TANG being worse than lying about sex with a sex accusation. LOL! Thanks for posting this.

8. Welcome to DU. Of course it means nothing.
When you have Diebold rigging the voting machines, what the people want is utterly irrelevant.

13. Not just any bozos, but Republican bozos.
This would simply be antidotal evidence if it were not for the fact that polls appear to be supporting that view. Americans are feeling betrayed, as well they should.

15. Gore won Oregon
not likely bush will win in 2004. The area I live in is pretty heavily saturated with bush supporters, though.
