Did Bill Schneider just declare Kerry the nominee?

A friend just called and said he did. I don't know as we don't watch CNN much anymore.

Does he know something we don't know? Is it done already?

Oh my goodness. I thought there was more to it than just a declaration.

3. He declared Gore a winner during a skit

It was actually funny. Had a parody of the presidential race and the dog show. Bush was likend to his scottish terrior who "know's he's superior to his master" ouch.

But he declared Gore the winner as the dog who won barked loudly (cut to Gore screaming about * betraying america etc.) and lost last time but pulled out a win.

It is bizarre to watch him do commentary during primary coverage. He says things that just don't make sense. I can't imagine he will be around much longer.
