3. Oh, I suppose he could have said how he differs
from Edwards point by point. Clearly there is enough that separates them. Or he could have said: not at this point.

But just said "no" in the same way that during the debate he just said "yes."

And, you know, as someone who tends to talk too much myself, I can appreciate how such one word responses can be useful not only in politics but in every day life.
