1. Is this before or after the 100 billion supplemental they just voted on for Iraq?

3. That's weird; the most recent poll shows a (small) improvement.

5. Not really. Opinions expressed on DU do not always represent what's going on in the real world.

8. True enough. But I don't know anyone who's happy about this;
granted, I move in some fairly DU-esque circles. And it's not like the poll in question exactly shows Congress carried by a tsunami of love and admiration. But it still surprises me.

4. This question is always deceptive and pisses me off.
Congressional approval should be based on approval for "my Representatives and Senators," not for all of Congress. I live in Missouri. Am I supposed to approve of the Congressional Reps and Senators from Texas? They represent Texas, not me.

Comparing Bush's approval to all of Congress just obscures Bush's true lowly standing with the people. It's either intentional or just more incompetence in the national media to make this comparison.

9. It's not deceptive at all.
For the most part I approve of my representative Emmanuel Cleaver's job, but there aren't 435 Cleaver's in the House. There's a bunch of useless dead-weight, so I don't approve of Congress.
