It seems to me that a Gore / Kucinich ticket...running as a dem or 3rd party...is our greatest hope for a non-violent revolution. What do you guys think?
I'll take Gore/Feingold for a thousand, Alex. :applause:
And I don't think Al wants to actively lead a "revolution" so much as he wants to fire up the troops (everyday people) to lead the charge OURSELVES - the way small d-democracy and citizen activism is supposed to work.
4. Gore/Feingold would be better, but I think people will eventually have to reconcile
themselves to the fact that Gore most likely will not run. I realize that some will grasp at straws for Gore until we actually have a nominee. No matter who gets the nomination, Feingold has said he would take second place on the ticket and you do not often see a well known politician take that position.
7. I'm finally convinced he really does not want the Presidency.
It was his last visit to Letterman. Dave mentioned it and Al immediately blew it off.
Since he doesn't want to run, fine. I've decided to move on. I simply won't get excited any more- too few other choices seem real or genuinely hopeful to me. I've decided to simply wait for the wannabes to self destruct, and then I'll see what we have left.
Hopefully there will be one or two good ones left standing.
get into this mess.He can do more good from the outside,if he ran he'd have to tone down his message and he would have less freedom to do the things he needs to do.
