The magical selection of U.S. attorneys for liquidation -" whodunnit? - I dunno".
With all the people the Senate committee has questioned, nobody seems to know how the 9 liquidated U.S. Atttorneys were selected or who selected them. There is also an attitude apparent (and exppressed by some Repubs on the committee) that actually, everything that is done in the Government really just boils down to "politics". that nobody in Government does things in a sincere effort to follow the rule of law or to just adhere to rules of ethical behavior. This goes back to conservative Republicans idea that ol' "I am not a crook" dick Nixon, was really not guilty of crimes of undermining Democracy. These conservatives think everything is just 'political'. This is their way of explaining away the high crimes of Nixon (the worst this country had seen, until the aborted election of 2000).

I have a suggestion. If all these participanats in the conspiracy to withhold the truth from the Congress and the American electorate really feel everything just boils down to 'politics' and that they thereby have complete contempt for (if not a complete lack of understanding of) the rule of law and the importance of conducting oneself in public office with some semblance of ethical standards then I suggest we give these muther#@&%@#s a field trip to where they can witness a society where there really is no rule of law. Where individuals do feel entitled to kill off those who don't totally agree with them.

LEt's give them a field trip to IRAQ. They will be required to tour the environs in one of those wonderfully under armored Humvees our troops are using - on a daily basis. This field trip will continue until one of these %^$@#&s begins to talk. and if one or more of them has their face blown off by a IED, well then, at least they may have prevented one of our troops from catching that shrapnel. And then I would say one of these creeps finally performed a public service. Congratulations.
