So, do give us a ring when they do. And pray they don't, because even if it takes Kerry down, the Party is toast if there is another sex scandal associated with it. Don't think your guy is getting a trip to the White House over Kerry's body.

33. Make no mistake, CNN has a whole slew...
of people on this story trying to find credible sources. If there are any facts to back the story up, they will find them and run the story. It's all about ratings and they're not about to let FAUX or anybody else get a leg up. The parents may speak out, somebody might track the girl down in Africa for comment or the story may die by tomorrow or it may take off and be huge. It's a wait and see situation. Kerry will be vindicated or vilified.

41. No. Primary voters who worry about defeating Bush care about it.
One of oft-stated reasons for KErry getting votes in the primaries, is the illusion that he can beat Bush. Any hint of scandal does not bode well for a man who's rise to the top is based on.. 'well, he's not my first choice, but he's the one I think can beat Bush'. I told you all.. electability is a myth and it's transient.. it can disappear in a flash.

The anchor introduced the brief segment by saying that Kerry went on Don Imus this morning, where he was asked about the internet rumors that he has been involved with a young intern.

After playing Kerry's response, the anchor said "Well! There you have it."

Intern???? :grr:  Has anyone actually confirmed who's intern this woman was? Seems like VRWC code to me.

Aren't some big media companies huge donors to his campaign? Why would they want to tear him down? He won't change the status quo for them.

I think it's great that they are dismissing it as a rumor, but I doubt that it is showing their "integrity." If these rumors were attributed to any of the other candidates, they'd pounce, in my opinion.

60. Yeah that makes sense.
A major news organization has "the goods" on someone but they are going to sit on the story because they donated to his campaign? First of all - do you know CNN donated to the Kerry campaign? Second, why would a news organization sit on something they knew to be true if it is going to come out anyway - which it will if it is true? The one constant with any news organization is that they do not want to be "scooped" because they were too slow to get a story out. If they say they don't have anything, believe me they don't have anything.
