Is there a small cadre of people here at DU that will cheer whenever something bad is posted about Hillary? You betcha. There is also a similar group that will do it when something similar is posted about Obama, and more who will do it when Edwards is the target.

It doesn't mean anything. Hillary is no more a victim than anyone else. As a matter of fact she might be less of one if her supporters didn't flock to threads which denigrate other candidates to gleefully crow about how the shoe is now on the other foot.

I'm begging you people, STOP. We've gotten to the point here at DU where we treat every other Democratic candidate but our own as if they are the enemy. We are harsher to them than we are to the Republicans who are wrecking our country. The Republicans would love for each of our candidates to be smeared endlessly from now until next November and WE ARE DOING THEIR WORK FOR THEM. The big game is just around the corner and we are having a civil war in the locker room trying to determine who the team captain is.

I should blame myself for not reading the fine print and for posting my opinion before I knew most of the details. but I also intend to learn from this mistake. Shrum should be writing plots for soup operas, not speeches or campaign strategies for Hillary Clinton. if Hillary learns from this, I may support her in the primaries. but even if she doesn't, I'll probably support her if nominated.
