Washington, D.C. -- Congresswoman Anna G. Eshoo, D-Palo Alto, issued the following statement regarding H.R. 2206, the Iraq supplemental funding bill.

"On Thursday, May 24th I will vote against legislation that supports funding of President Bush's failed policy in Iraq. The bill lacks timelines for the redeployment of troops and, while it contains benchmarks, they are not enforceable."
