Where did the yellow dogs go?
Edited on Fri Feb-13-04 01:54 PM by ColdnGrey
Where are the real democrats at. The ones that relize that Clark's endorsement of Kerry was not a "sellout" but a unifying gesture to focus on the next step of this campaign as quickly as possible. Where are the democrats that put party loyalty above the ego of a candidate? Where are the democrats who want to see Bush Inc. removed from office by any means necessary? Where are the democrats that relize to reform the party we have to take small steps to the left, not giant leaps.

We've all been guilty of being the other kind of democrat (heck i was off and on for the last 4 months) but there comes a time where the party needs to come above candidates. I'm not saying switch your support but I am hoping that we can get to a point where supporting Kerry is not considered "shameful" or a "sellout" and we don't knock down our strongest candidates for the glory of some of the weaker ones.

Take that as you will, and flame away if needed.

2. Perhaps
<”but there comes a time where the party needs to come above candidates”>

But that time is not in the middle of a primary race. That’s why we have a primary. So the Party can decide on the best candidate.

3. You're right
But cutting off your nose to spite your face is bad for the party. Also, at this point there are only to truely viable canidates in the race.( no offense to them, thats just the way it is)

4. We Remain, Sir
Not only do we remain, but we predominate.

It is really but a small and ragged fringe that claims it will not support the Party's nominee come November, and a large protion of it is composed of people who do not really consider themselves Democrats, but Greens, or something else beyond the Party.

"LET'S GO GET THOSE BUSH BASTARDS!"

7. No flame here. I agree.
But I do feel that Clark's importance is being greatly exaggerated.
