I'm looking for a Gore statement regarding our attack on Iraq. Specifically, I am looking for a quote from after the start of the war, but prior to May 1st, 2003.

I contend that Gore supported the invasion at that time.

My question: After Bush attacked Iraq w/o the UN, did Gore stand up in opposition like Dennis Kucinich and Maurice Hinchey, or did he state that he would have done the exact same thing as George Bush (more in the line of Kerry - we must support the troops)?

The link you provided was from statements made prior to the conflict. I know that Gore endorsed Dean, spoke harsh via moveon.org... ect.

Just like most politicians, he's vague and non-committal. The IWR was too broad, but there should have been one, according to Gore.

WTF?

Why was Iraq such a BFD? They were doing NOTHING to us. We had real terrorists to contend with. We still do.

But because Democrats let themselves be drawn into the Iraq 'threat' we are now 'stuck' there.
