Giuliani & Abortion - Waiting to hear from the Bishops on this one.
What i want to know is this: now that Giuliani has apparently staked out the centrist position on reproductive freedom--you know, that wacko insane left-wing position that 70% of the country supports--when are the U.S. Catholic bishops going to pressure their congregations not to vote for him?

Or does that rule only apply to John Kerry?

1. also see Pandagon.net today
Benedict XVI has something to say about legislators in other countries, but nothing about Giuliani yet.

2. THE Daily news had a cover: Pope vs Rudy - complete with huge photos
The funniest part of the banner said "Ruddy stands firm on abortion" (in NYC it's a good thing). Problem is, "firm" is the last thing you can say about his stammering answer at the convention.

4. How the fuck can Rudyboy still be Catholic, on his THIRD marriage?
He must have paid a BUNDLE for those two annulments, eh? The first one, since he married his cousin, well, that was probably pretty easy, especially since she was infertile, but the Donna Hanover (two kids) one--hmmmmm....
