3. I appreciate the sentiment but...
... as an 18 year resident of Detroit I have lost count of how many times someone in the political arena has come to the city and promised change and Detroit continues to slide into rusted out obscurity. Between the CEO's of the Not So Big Three and those corrupt ass clowns in the U.A.W Detroit is pretty much F@#$ed. The city is too far gone for the Auto Industry alone to save it (Flint anyone??) and hoping for that is pointless. Corporate/Business/Industrial diversity is the only thing that is going to save Detroit and much of the rest of the Rust Belt.

6. Democrats are stupid. Instead of going with the candidate that inspires and excites
like Barack Obama, the party will rule with their head, pick another loser like Hillary and then wonder why democrats do go out and vote like the republicans who are suddenly energized by a Hillary nomination.
obama can inspire us to address the problems that are facing us and make us willingly roll up our sleeves. he can bring the country together. But, the dems will stumble again by picking Hillary who turns off voters in her own party and refuse to vote for her. How in the world can she bring the country together at a time when it must in order to repair our country.
