He was just piled on over his whole thing about not wanting to move heaven and earth to get bin Laden then tried to top it with ire and brimstone about some fictitious caliphate taking over the Middle East, I would personally count Romney out of the running right about now. He was too desperate in responding to it to look like mister tough-on-terror, he's trying to hard now. I think he's not going to make it to the convention. Watch Gilmore though, he's unfortunately too good at responding to this stuff. He's somehow has the presence of someone who is competent and capable, almost grandfatherly, in spite of that his record is as bad as Bush's. Watch out for him, he might do well, and he could be a problem.
