WBAL, NBC Baltimore Station, reported on the Kerry intern story tonight
They did teasers before the news started, asking which presidential candidate may have had an affair with an intern. Then about five stories into the broadcast the anchor says, "Now consider the source here," then goes on to tell the Drudge version of the story.

Just thought I'd give you guys a hint at the coverage this story is receiving here. Perhaps you can add if and how your local news is covering this story.

4. Either that, or this thing is growing legs
If Kerry is going on Imus to deny the rumors, this is not good for Kerry.

11. Apparently, he is
I'll wait and see what's actually said before making a determination, though.

If he is asked the question, it's over for Kerry.

3. hmmm, so it is ok to try to boost ratings
with an unconfirmed story, as long as you say or imply the source is unreliable?

6. At least they said "consider the source here."
Thank heavens for small favors. VERY small. At least some newswriter somewhere has a little bit of clear perspective.

7. I thought the woman was a reporter
Clinton redux on the intern *sigh*

Dean looks better all the time. No one would ever believe this of him. He and Judy are clearly in love and happy together.

9. Huh? I think such garbage is just considered Puke politics as usual.
Clinton rode high on the anti-witch hunting wave. Kerry will probably soar even higher. People don't like bedroom voyeurs.

12. Anybody else remember the Clinton love child story?
I think it was Newsmax who broke that story. Once the genetics proved it wrong, no one jumped on the source then.

20. And 500 Americans died in Iraq for no reason
Edited on Fri Feb-13-04 12:47 AM by Woodstock
not to mention 3000 wounded and lots more Iraqis killed or wounded...

And a CIA agent was outed by someone on Bush's staff...

And 2 towers fell to earth along with thousands of innocent people, yet so little has been done to protect us...

And our country's finances and environment are going to hell in a handbasket...

And lots more bad stuff, but oh, who am I fooling...

All that really matters is what a guy does with his penis in his off hours.

18. WBAL is conservative, like most of the airwaves in Baltimore
The state is largely Democratic, the city is largely Democratic, but the airwaves are 100% conservative. Go figure.
