Matthews: Hillary--greatest debate performance or greatestest?
Hillary is Tweety's new pet candidate.

3. Yes, Tweety needs to chill, but Hillary did do very well last night.
I watched the debates very carefully, listened to each of the candidates responses, andpaid close attention to their mannerisims. The only think that seemed apparent to me was Obama's lack of experience in a forum like that, and nobody answered the question "How will we know when the MISSION IS COMPLETE?

she avoids him?

7. Not that I'm aware of
I watch Tweety practically every night and I've never seen her before. I don't remember ever seeing Obama on it either.

8. That is a switch he usually slams the Clintons.
I heard a rumor years ago that he disliked the Clintons because he wanted to be Bill Clinton's press secretary but they picked someone else instead. He used to trash both Bill and Hillary supposedly because that slight. Since Hillary is the frontrunner, he's probably sucking up so he isn't shut out of any access to the next Clinton presidency. He is a typical infotainment talking head.

9. I suspect that he's talking Hillary up because
he wants her to win the nomination--not because he actually likes her, but because he thinks she's the candidate that the repukes will come out in droves on election day to defeat.

Methinks Tweety is being less than honest (what a surprise!) about his feelings about Hillary.

12. actually, I hadn't seen him in months..
he looks terrible. Is his health suffering in any way? The shirt he was wearing was miles too big around the neck. Also, he looks as if he's suddenly dropped quite a bit of weight. If memory serves, he was missing from work for a week or so some time ago. Has the reason for that little sabbatical ever been made public?

10. I thought Hillary did very well.
Especially with the "terrorist attack" qustion. She is obviously trying her best to finesse the far left enough to keep them at bay, while maintaining an appeal to moderates (like me) and independents for the general election. She also sounded Presidential, something many wondered about.

11. Yeah, we're so "far left" ..we want an
End to the killing and bloody mess of this misbegotten War On Iraq and an end to the fucking lies our politicians spew out.

If that's far left then count me in.

14. What if he actually thought she did well?
A lot of people - on TV, on DU, and elsewhere - seem to think she did well last night. He doesn't praise Hillary that often, so perhaps he's just being sincere?

16. Tweety started off saying Obama won without a doubt, but his pundits..

...all insisted Hillary was the winner and so he changed his tune..

Then when he had to read the MSNBC interactive poll results, he said..

------"It looks like public and the pundits don't agree on who won, it's Obama, then Edwards, followed by Hillary"

I had to crack up at that point.

If he would've stuck with his original comment, he would have pegged it exactly right.

What an idiot he is.
