Will McCain's Jokes Push Him Out of the Presidential Race?
Once again John McCain seems to have made a joke about war, bombs, and explosions that some do not like. A short time ago McCain made a joke about bombing Iran, which made many upset. So will McCain's jokes push him out of the presidential race?

I am not sure the jokes will cost him since he is a Republican. It seems like the Republicans might just think he is a better candidate since he is willing to hurt so many people without thinking about the consequences.

1. He's cruel. One of his "jokes" was that Chelsea Clinton was the love child
of Hillary and Janet Reno. He made other similarly crass jokes that showed lack of judgment and character.

2. Only if he were a Democrat. In fact, let him call someone a "major league asshole" ...
Let him shoot a lawyer in the face.'

Let him pretend to look for WMDs under the desk.

But if he were a Democrat, he wouldn't be allowed to forget the word "us" in a joke.

4. Does it matter?
No way he will be elected, should he somehow get nominated.

If there is a worse candidate, I'd like to know who it is. He's a freakin' disaster.

6. How does this compare....
to what Kerry said, for example, that I think caused him to not run for president.

Sorry, I can't even recall what it was! Must not have been a jingle I can remember!

9. He was never really in it...His pro-war stance is a deal breaker
America wants out.

His jokes just show that his campaign isn't serious. He's just an old codger taking a victory lap, yelling at the kids that someone should put him in charge and he'd show em how it's done, not really meaning it. Kinda like Bob Dole's ass whipping at the hands of Clinton.

McCain-- like Dole - is the answer to the question no one is asking, which is 'how can we get further into this pointless clusterfuck?'.

Guiliani is the Repuke nominee, and we should be able to tear him apart. People are tired of the scare mongering bullshit, and once Guiliani is forced to show his hand on social issues and his required support of the Iraq War debacle, the election will be OVER.

11. Aside from being a burro's ass, I don't think McCain is mentally all there....
Maybe it's an onset of dementia or something, but he is not a well man.

15. They'll help him in the short run
he is using them to appeal to the troglodyte base. But I think he'll fall into the Coulter trap: he has a bad sense of boundaries so he will inevitably go too far, everyone will talk about how his humor is almost always violent, and say that he's crackers.
