So, what would happen?
What would happen if it were proved that the past two presidential elections were stolen? Or for argument's sake, just the first. Let's say it's been proven that Gore won, and that the republican party knowingly interfered with the outcome of the election. What would happen? Or does the Supreme Court's decision somehow make it null and void in the eyes of the law?

I'm honestly asking.

1. The supreme court's decision wouldn't matter

what matters is the electoral college and the certification of the electors by the Congress.

George W. Bush was legally elected President in 2000 and in 2004. The electors cast their votes, and Congress accepted those votes. That's the end of it, constitutionally.

6. yep, sad but true.
The felonies committed could be prosecuted and the fuckers that staged the coup could be sentenced to prison and it could act as a catalyst to bring sweeping reforms and national election standards could finally be established.

And I could win the lottery and have enough money to get my loved ones and all my friends out of here.

7. They always seem to commit the perfect crime. No consequences.
No laws broken since they make the laws.

9. They use existing laws to their advantage to commit crimes, then subvert
or change the laws that they can.

10. That is debatable, there was no precedent for their stopping the re-count
ordered by the Florida court and they certainly had the option of simply not making any ruling at all. Not only was there a lack of precedent, but they attempted to state that their ruling was not be used as precedent in the future (I say attempt because of course it will become precedent at some point, if only as an example of judicial over-reach)

Had they done that we would have seen President Gore and the whole world would be quite different.

11. Nope
the Florida legislature was prepared to send Bush electors (as is their right) no matter what the supreme court did.

"The Bush request follows a Florida Supreme Court decision that revived Vice President Al Gore's presidential hopes by ordering a manual recount of at least 43,432 "undervotes" from as many as 62 counties."

"In its ruling Friday, the Florida Supreme Court said Circuit Court Judge N. Sanders Sauls erred on three critical points of law when he rejected Gore's petition to overturn the certification of Florida's election results and manually recount the ballots."

3. I suspect charges ofinterfereing with elections would be filed.
Those are felony's folks! If you're asking would Gore become Prez...I don't think so. I think the SCOTUS ruling would stand as far as THAT election goes.

Don't give up though. Felony charges against Shrub, Cheney and the RNC execs aren't just chopped liver either!

4. My ideal result?
That the Earth would change rotation, these last 6 years never happened, and Gore became President.

Do overs!
