Looks like CNN has taken the opportunity in this VT tragedy, to change hosts on American Morning
Weren't Soledad O'Brien and Miles O'Brien on CNN's American Morning at their desks on Monday morning--and yet this morning we see their replacements--John "This Week at War" Roberts and Kiran Chetry, formerly of Fox News--that's right, Fox News, opining about the Virginia Tech tragedy. And now I see they are on campus covering the story on CNN waiting for the memorial service.

1. Uh, I thought this was a previously scheduled handover.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was sure I heard that American Morning's hosts were changing... last week, days before this shooting.

4. Change was in the works, but did not realize it was scheduled to begin yesterday.
If so, I stand corrected.

You can't pin that one on CNN it was already in the works. IT was posted here about 100 times in the last week alone.

3. Soledad and sidekick Myles were gone yesterday
I was watching in the early morning and CNN was all a hubbub gretting the new anchors and showing off their Larry King suspenders.

7. Heh, I long ago kicked my CNN watching ways
10 years CNN free! I think it's 10 years now. Something like that. :)

8. Miles O'Brien was one of the few talking heads who asked the tough question and the followup.
He will remain as CNN's science correspondent and Soledad will have an investigative show of some sort-perhaps weekly.
