Don't count McLame out yet.
He is still the US Corp. Media's choice. If the Busholini Admin. can brainwash a lot of Americans with the complicit US Corp Media that the surge is working and Iraq stabilizes just a bit McLame will be promoted as being the steadfast, optimistic patriot that should be the next Pres.

incompetents.

The money's not exactly flowing, staff has been cut, the poll numbers are anemic, and the candidate himself is pro-surge when nearly 2/3rds of voters oppose it.

I'm not seeing an upward trend there.

2. I don't think McCain is trusted ...
by anyone, Rep or Dem. A war hero (40 years ago) has become a weasel.

He might get the nomination, only because the Reps sort of know they will not win the next election. Bush has broken the Repub party, at least for a while. He's also broken the army, and broken the country's finances.
