Timing of Clark' endorsement of Kerry a matter of honor

I believe the timing of Clark's endorsement of Kerry a matter of honor. Clark probably learned of his name being linked to the intern story, and because he would never want to be used to muddy the image of anyone unfairly, he moved up his endorsement.

That raises the second point. Why would he endorse Kerry at all? Because he probably believes Kerry is most qualified to defend America in wartime. I believe with his background that he considers the safety of America his number one issue. Secondly, while Kerry is a longtime Washington politician, he does have one of the most liberal records in the Senate, and has fought for the common man's interest on very important bills such as Bankruptcy Reform.

Third, he knows John Kerry personally better than the others.
