Nuclear waste site dynamite in Nevada politics

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- We haven't forgotten about Nevada, and apparently Ed Gillespie hasn't either.

While most of the '04 Democrats snub the Silver State's caucus this week to focus on Wisconsin, the Republican National Committee chairman heads west Thursday to give Sen. John Kerry a solid pasting.

Two days before a small number of state Democrats hold presidential caucuses, Gillespie will make stops in Las Vegas and Reno to meet and greet and also paint President Bush's would-be challengers as no-good evildoers. He'll deliver his remarks at 10:30 p.m. ET in Reno.

"It's only February, and they have made clear they intend to run the dirtiest campaign in modern presidential politics," Gillespie will say, according to an advance copy of his speech.

1. 75% of the people in Nevada don't want Yucca
Bush ran in 2000 saying he would not open it and then did a total reversal after he was selected. I don't see him winning that state, no way no how.

And just for note, we NEED a place to put it. Where better than sin city with only a few votes.
