1. I can't believe this
I feel....betrayed. If I wanted an establishment, Washington Insider candidate, I would have joined the Kerry Kamp long ago.

How could things go so wrong so fast?

34. It's all about getting * out of his stolen office.
It's all about making that sorry piece of shit responsible once in his worthless life for SOMETHING.
It's all about revenging the hundreds of American soldiers and thousands of Iraqis and possibly 3,000 victims of the WTC attack.
It's all about getting our nation out of the jaws of the rightwing fascist * bastards.
It's all about.......

22. we've been telling you. It's been this way all along
folks like me have always said Clark was one of them (a lobbyist insider DLC/PNAC type).

Now that he's not running can I call him a republican (I'll ask the administrators. Here it is just rhetorical)?

13. I trust Clark
Look, I signed on to Clark's campaign because I believed in him. I felt he was trustworthy, and though I'm not sure why he feels so strongly about Kerry, I'll trust his judgement in this. Working for the General, we all felt like we were a part of his army.

Simply put - I wasn't too keen on either Kerry or Edwards, and it frankly mattered very little how I felt about Kucinich and Dean, because they were at the bottom and not rising. So if Clark leans toward Kerry, it doesn't kill me to do the same.

Both voted for the war I'm against, and I don't see that either is any better or worse.

I do not feel betrayed by Clark's endorsement of Kerry. I may not yet support Kerry: my issues with the senator are independent of the campaign. However, if I see that Clark is actively campaigning for Kerry, I will take it as a strong endorsement and take it as a suggestion that I should become more active in Kerry's campaign.

15. I'm left supporting Kucinich now.
Don't like Dean, don't trust Kerry, don't think Edwards can hack it. Leaves me with Kucinich.

It's a sad day when Clark decides to pull out. He would have CREAMED W.

17. I support his right to make endorsements. I'm leaning Edwards, however
I felt this way before the Kerry revelation. I need more (or really, any) facts before I calculate Kerry's possible scandal into my final choice. I think Clark may be in part supporting Kerry because of the veteran thing. Clark is loyal to the vets, understandably. He believes, as I do, that we should keep faith with the men and women who stick their asses on the line to protect our liberty and freedom. He may have felt that their support for the Dems would be better secured with Kerry in the hot seat.

All I know is that Edwards consistantly exceeds expectations in his elections and that's exactly what we need for a nominee. But I'm not sold on His Slickness yet. I don't need a perfect president, but America needs a Democratic nominee who can win.

I'm personally in a holding pattern.

18. I support Clark's exercise of free will
I support Clark exercising his free will. If that includes his endorsing Kerry, then good on him. Just as Clark supported Michael Moore's right to his view of Bush as a deserter.

Clark endorsing Kerry wouldn't mean that I have to support Kerry; though Clark's *reasons* for supporting one or another candidate would be interesting to hear.

21. Yes I do...
Kerry was always my 2nd choice anyway.

And Clark realizes that Kerry's going to be the nominee. Not only has he won 12 out of 14 primaries, he's leading in the remaining states. Nobody is going to catch up to him.

23. I respect that Wes Clark is ABB
and he obviously feels that this is how he can most impact that outcome. Unite behind the front-runner, presumptive nominee and then carry the fight hard and direct at Bush/Cheney.

Oddly, I was a passive Kerry supporter before Clark entered the race and now, while ardently ABB, I'm not strongly pro-Kerry. I'll vote for Clark in the IL primary and then get actively behind the nominee.

It's not as easy as yes or no. You should have included other.

I am a Clark supporter still, & he is free to endorse Kerry. I believe it's because of foreign policy & nat'l security.

I don't have to approve or disaprove.

Regretably, I say yes. But I am quite torn. I still will not participate in the primaries except to write in Clark's name. He is still my candidate.

32. it's not a grudge
I stopped supporting Kerry because of his record of the last 3 years, his dismaying oratoratical style and his ugliness against Dean.

Quite simply, I can't stand Kerry. Still, I will 'unite' behind him in the voting booth in NOVEMBER, but not one moment before.

I respect the General's right to support whom he chooses, but that will not make me vote for Kerry on my absentee GA ballot. I will still vote for Clark.

31. Clark wants to get things done and so do I.
If Kerry is going to be the ticket...he's the one to back.
How could Clark accomplish any of the things we all want...if he backs the looser? Remember ABB! Kerry/Clark is a winning ticket and the Bushies must be really worried. Do you think they would be scared to death of a Kerry/Edwards or Kerry/Dean ticket? NO!! Rove sure as hell fears this ticket most of all. They have everything...experience, national security and the South. What more could we want? Except a Clark/Dean? ticket. Well we ain't going to get it! So I go with Kerry even though I only have eyes for Clark. Maybe Kerry can give him to us. (Maybe Kerry has promised Clark a place a the table.)

35. Yes, I do
and I'm very glad to get such a clear signal from Clark so quickly. If I had any doubts that Kerry will be a good candidate if he gets the nomination, Clark's endorsement definitely helps to ease them. I don't have any huge problems with Edwards, either, though. I think we were blessed with a very good selection of people this time around. I'd have loved it to be Clark, but if it can't be, I'm very gratified to know what his second choice is and I hope it means he'll be in the administration in some capacity.
