American Muslims beginning to fear that ‘Islamophobia’ is gripping the U.S. I sure as hell hope so.
Ugh! Once again I’ll say: a phobia is an irrational fear. Fearing those who want to smite you (cut off your head) is NOT irrational!
I, for one, sure hope it is.
All we needed to know about Islam we learned on 9/11.
Maybe I’m just being old fashioned here, but random killings, the sudden jihad syndrome, and suicide bombing, all from the same religious cult , will create “phobia” in rational minds.

Hatred is much different than fear. Miso_islamics
I don’t hate muslims per se but I have to admit I feel better when they arn’t around.Hmmm, could these comments be a (that is, one of the many) possible reason(s) we aren't winning in Iraq? Call me crazy, but maybe when the sole supporters of this illegal war, the same Americans who bitched and moaned over the terrible tyrant Saddam Hussein, in reality, couldn't give one FLYING FUCK for the Iraqi people, their culture, their religion, their infant sons or daughters, their land, or their entire way of life --- we JUST might have compromised our mission. Wait, what is our mission again? Ah yes, the liberation of the Iraqi people.
Notice this part: Last summer, a USA Today/Gallup Poll found that 39 percent of Americans have "at least some feelings of prejudice against Muslims" and 34 percent said Muslims living in the United States were "sympathetic" to al-Qaida.
34%? Where have I seen that before? Oh yes, it's the approximate value of Bush's latest poll numbers. Coincidence?
http://www.pollingreport.com/BushJob.htmSo, just so everyone follows me, we are fighting a war to free a people that 40% of Americans are prejudiced against. I guarantee it's the same 40% that supports Bush, or close to it. Doesn't anyone get the irony/idioacy/tragedy/comedy of this??!!
