Candidates in Wisconsin
Can supporters of any of the candidates provide me with a schedule of their candidates stops in Wisconsin?

I'd really like ot see one or more of them in person.

1. I see on the Kerry site
that Kerry (and, presumably Clark) will be appearing in Madison at noon, but they don't have the location.

I'm thinking of donning every Clark button I have and going to the event! :)

4. till my pins poke them...
Just after I posted that message, I went back to the Kerry site to see if I could find any more information, and saw the photo of Gep endorsing Kerry. I don't think I could live through seeing Wes holding Kerry's hand up in the air like he's a mighty champion... Maybe I'll call a few other Clarkies to see if they'd go with me to give me a shoulder to cry on.

Do you know where the event is taking place? If it looks like we're all going, I'd love to meet you guys - well, especially your daughter, since she's obviously the wiser one of you two... ;)

9. hmmm, they have nothing on Kerry
and the Edwards schedule doesn't include anything that sounds like it would welcome someone who just wants to give a listen to a candidate's stump speech. Jeez, I'm feeling a little short-changed! My candidate is gone, and no way to try to 'bond' with anyone else before I have to vote! I'm feeling like a wallflower at a Junior High Dance! :(

Edited on Thu Feb-12-04 05:00 PM by ewagner
would have liked to have met Dennis (I think he's a closet Dennis Supporter.) but he's at school in Tallahassee so he can't make it.

btw: MY son LOVES UW and State Street....but FSU made him an offer he couldn't refuse.......

on edit: I e-mailed my sons friends at UW STevens Point and told them to be on the lookout for news about Dennis coming to the campus. One of the friends was over here for Christmas and said she is either Kuchinich or Green..and I mean REALLY DARK GREEN!

I see you beat me to it and know much more detail than I thanks.

Schedule is not yet on http://www.kucinich.us/schedule.php.

My sense is some stuff may be in flux but there are at least three rallies which seem pretty firm based on e-mails I've seen.

Milwaukee Rally Sunday 7:00 pm Modjeska Theatre
(Open at 5:00 pm to watch debate, then DK will address post-debate)

Madison Rally Monday 12:00 pm UW-Madison Library Mall

LaCrosse Rally Monday 7:00 pm UW-LaCrosse Cartwright Center

Also, I think someting Sunday afternoon at UW-Milwaukee and maybe something at UW-Stevens Point is perhaps in the works.

15. Clark, Dean, and Edwards have all been to Green Bay.
I haven't heard any announcements for anyone here this weekend.

BTW, three of my family {self, wife, daughter} are voting for Dennis Kucinich on Tuesday. I will vote for the Democratic Party nominee in GE. ABB.

Dennis will gain some delegates from Wisconsin.

I think he will do quite well here.

21. Kick for Wisconsin
Anyone attending the Jefferson Jackson Dems Gala Dinner saturday evening in Milwaukee? Its $100 a plate and presidential candidates including DK will be there. I'm not certain I can swing it, although its possible. I am going to Wisconsin for the holiday weekend and hope to catch DK Sunday at UW-Milwaukee and at post-debate rally, and Monday in madtown. Should be fun lead up to Kucinich in Minnesota the following weekend.

Edited on Fri Feb-13-04 04:14 PM by goodhue
Why are DUers not talking about Wisconsin rather than some dumb gossip non-story. The battle for Wisconsin is on, and far from over. Although Kerry may have lead, second place is wide open. The candidates will all be there. Its exciting! Cheer up and go to Wisconsin. From Chicago, from MI, from MN, from IA, everyone go to Wisconsin! I'm leaving in the morning.
