4. Careful or we'll send you Rep. Steve King !
http://www.house.gov/apps/list/speech/ia05_king/sp_20060503_stats.html

"Mr. Speaker, speaking of those cities, I would point out that there is a way also to draw a measure, a measure that Americans will have a different feel for when I lay out the casualty rates for violent deaths in our cities in America. And it occurs to me when I look at these statistics that it is far more dangerous for my wife to live here in Washington, D.C. than it would be if she were living as an Iraqi civilian citizen in a random place in Iraq."

You want him??? You can have him!!!

5. Trade you Souder for your King
Souder represents his district by requesting money for lighthouses when we don't have lighthouses in our district. He requests money for Notre Dame when it isn't in our district. He authors a bill to prohibit students from receiving student loans if guilty of using drugs prior to admission and then blames it on Clinton and then Bush for enforcing the law. He criticizes the local college for allowing a play critical of religion and refuses to step foot on the campus.

7. For reference point... Burton adjoins Souders district to the west
and Pence is in the district to the south.

9. Why do your kids live in a market in Iraq?
But at least be thankful they don't live in Indiana.

6. John Mellencamp's music
Great juxtaposition with scenes of Iraq and "Small Town", and Jon Stewart ending with, "...die in a small town."
