New Dem Website Offers 'Convention 101' for Denver '08
ABC News' Paul Fidalgo Reports: As the city of Denver, Colorado braces itself for the onslaught of Democratic enthusiasts that will pour into the city next year, the Democratic National Committee unveiled its official website Tuesday for the 2008 Democratic National Convention at www.demconvention.com.

While the convention itself does not begin until August 25, 2008, the website takes care to make sure everyone is prepared well in advance. Eager Democrats can find out how to become delegates to the convention and who they should contact if they would like to volunteer or apply for a job. The site also has a detailed history of conventions past, and will soon post video of the acceptance speeches of previous Democratic presidential nominees.

While only delegates can attend the convention itself, restless Democrats need not despair. "The 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver will be a first-rate convention that utilizes cutting-edge technology to engage and involve Democrats across the country who may not be able to attend in person but still want to be part of the convention," said DNC chairman, Gov. Howard Dean, D-Vt., in a statement. "The web site will be a place to keep Americans informed of all the latest convention news and will be updated daily as the convention nears."

Gov. Dean will join Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper in a celebration of next year's convention on Wednesday.

1. Wear masks and The Ride to any 'peace marches'
CIA Plans to Shift Work to Denver
Domestic Division Would Be Moved

and the Princeton law professor who attended peace marches and ended up harassed on a recent flight, all lead to Democrats being targetted during the '08 convention. NO dissent or views counter to the Bush administration are allowed in the country anymore. Martial law is a distinct reality now. BTW, the NSA is probably doing some 'activity' in Colorado too so bring the carrier pigeons.
