This Week: John Kerry and Teresa on Everyday Environmentalism

Wonderfully sensitive and thoughtful discussion. Worth watching. Keeps hope alive!
Kerry joins Gore to save planet earth. Both have been longtime champions
for envirionmental reform.

It is interesting how both great men have not survived the
taste test of the American people or even their own political party.

2. Very good. Kerry would be proud of how the DEC in NY cracked down on a fertilizer leak
Edited on Sun Apr-08-07 03:51 PM by mtnsnake
A couple years ago a river that runs into Lake Ontario had hundreds of thousands of its fish come floating up dead all of a sudden. There was an investigation and it was learned that fertilizer (I think it was fertilizer) had leaked from a huge farm into a nearby stream and into that river, doing serious damage to that watershed. In turn, that farmer was fined a huge amount of money. I forget how much but it was way up there.

People have to be made aware of how much damage can be done to the environment and how hard it is to correct it. They need to be educated, and videos and books like this go a long way toward achieving that goal. People need to get fed specifics, as is done here.

4. I saw this, and also enjoyed the fact that George S. was good enough
to make it a discussion, not an argument or fight. Very refreshing, and I thought the Kerrys did well. Then again, they always do. :-)

5. They both are doing great work and it's frankly a shame they aren't in the White House
I know the MSM would have been all over them with whatever lies the RNC would have fed them to keep the agenda to save our country and the World off subject, but I couldn't help but get a little depressed to realize that the stolen election took away such a great couple from being interviewed in the White House and not their residence...

I'll definitely get a copy of the book.
