Kucinich says NH has clout in election

WARNER – At a town-meeting-style forum in Warner yesterday, Democratic Presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich said he believes New Hampshire voters will pick the next President of the United States.

The front-loading of about a dozen primary elections soon after New Hampshire's means whoever wins in the Granite State has more momentum than usual going into the other primaries, Kucinich said.

"New Hampshire has a chance to save America, and by reference, to save the world," he said.

The six-term Ohio Congressman and former Cleveland mayor said he and his wife, Elizabeth, are considering buying a house in New Hampshire.

A supportive crowd of about 40 turned out at MainStreet BookEnds in Warner to hear Kucinich speak.

About three-quarters of the audience members raised their hands when Kucinich asked, "How many think it's fair to start talking about impeaching the President?" As a member of Congress, Kucinich could raise the issue in Washington.

"I'm listening closely to what the American people have to say, and you'll have my answer within the next month," he said.

For the first half of his speech, Kucinich talked about reconnecting with the spirit of the American people and changing the government from one that endorses and profits from war to one that reflects "who we really are." "Where is our morality?" he asked. "We have to restore our connections with the global community." He called for the end of the "phony war on terror which licenses global war," and identified himself as the only presidential candidate who opposed the invasion of Iraq from the beginning.

1. But If It Comes From a State, Nancy Can No Longer Ignore It
That's our only hope to force the issue. Congress is constipated, and needs a grass(roots) laxative.

4. Yes Dennis, it is time to impeach
If they can impeach for a blowjob, we should surely impeach for all the broken and ignored laws committed by this administration.

5. Impeachment is not fair at all but
It is not fair to the American people to continue letting Bush 43 run this country into the ground.
The Democrats should bring impeachment proceedings against Bush as soon as possible. When the Congressional election cycle starts up, the people in the House of Representative will not be interested in a long legal process during a campaign season.
NOW is the time to impeach bush. Quit talking about it, quit making threats, quit taking polls, and just do it.

7. It is time to start thinking about it. In fact, its been time to start
thinking about it. It's time to put the people of this nation first, even if they haven't been paying too close attention (due to a lazy or complicit press).
