dailykos.com on the Kerry 'scandal'
http://www.dailykos.com/

He confirms that Clark has been talking about this for a couple weeks.

That said, it's a bullshit story. Kerry had an active and public romantic life in between his first wife and Theresa. I remember reading about his "wild" days in the Senate somewhere. But he was single (or at worst legally separated), and darn it, being single and having sex is a good thing. And the dalliances weren't even with his interns.

Problem is, news headlines will simply say the words "Kerry" and "intern", and the Clinton association will do the rest of the dirty work. There are also some very hazy details, such as whether this is a "new" affair or stems from his days as an eligible Senate bachelor. Either way, I say "who the fuck cares".

2. Uh... he helped start the draftclark movement.
And only backed away from supporting him because he took to long to declare his candidacy.

8. And it has been no secret
That's why many Clark people have long held KOS in low regard.

5. Let's not start fighting until we know what the deal is
Personally I wish everyone would just hold off until we see if this story has any truth whatsoever to it or it just disappears in the mist like a lot of other Drudge stories.

Has anyone ever considered that maybe the Repubs dropped this just so that they could get all the Dems to fight with each other by blaming Clark or Dean or, as a few have suggested, even kerry himself?

9. Apparently the press were waiting until Kerry had the nomination
or at least, close to it.
