Can an embattled nation ask the UN for relief??

No one supports this President, except members of his Administration, some RW nut jobs (including the RW Christian fundies) and Rush Limbaugh.

He is not going to give up. He wants his war or he will continue to keep hostage American troops.

So maybe we should be seeking help from outside forces - The United Nations maybe?

Wouldn't it be embarrassing if we could get the United Nations to fund the protective gear that Bush is saying he will withhold per his veto.

Wouldn't it be embarrassing if we could get the NATO jets to land in Iraq and spirit away the US troops.

Wouldn't it be embarrassing if we could get the UN Peace Keeping forces to land on the White House lawn and take this guy (and COndi, Cheney, Gonzo and Gates away??

Is there any precedence for this?
