I don't think Kerry will survive the current attacks

Whether or not it's fair, I don't think Kerry will survive the Fonda photo or the London Times/National Enquirer stories about his alleged moral failings. It doesn't matter what should be the case--if it is the case that these scandals, however unfounded, means he will lose the election, we should consider someone else. I think we are nominating Kerry much too fast. And whether or not I would be willing to ignore these allegations, most of the country will not--they will feed on these stories.

seemed to be true) are the diehards and this election will be decided by swing voting independents.
