1. I know a lot of people on DU don't like Biden, but I do.
If you really listen to him, he'ssmart, has agood idea how to solve the problems in Iraq, and he's got a personality to kick someone to hell and be happy he's on his way. Not to many of the other candidates can do that.

2. I'm one du'er that would like to see Biden become a front runner.
Not only does he have alot of foreing relations experience, I agree with you that he will not take much bs from anyone.

I just scratch my head that he's not moving up in the polls.

9. I did and I do agree with what he says, I know that he is not
popular on this site and he isn't yet a "frontrunner", but I still like him and try to listen to him whenever he is on.

10. I saw him and like him, BUT just like Hillary he focuses on
the undeniable fact that W did the Iraq the wrong way. What I believed then and still believe today is that it was wrong to launch an unprovoked war in the most volatile part of the world. I know that those Senators who voted for the Resolution would love for us to be satisfied with their damning critique of the manner in which the debacle has been conducted. But the real test of conscience and judgment was taking a stand against this atrocity at its outset.
I will vote for Hillary or Biden or any Democrat that is nominated, but no matter how much I like them, I refuse to support in the Primaries any Democrat who voted for an authorization that they knew or should have known would be used by Bush/Cheney to justify their unleashing of the awesome power of the US for other than legitimate existential concerns.

12. You and I have that hurdle that will always be in front of us.
Like you, I wasn't for going into Iraq from day 1 and absolutely saw the manipulation played on the general public by Bushco. The ONLY wiggle room I allow the Senators that voted for the IWR is that they didn't say "Mr. Bush attack Iraq", they said, "Mr. Bush, you can go to the U.N. with our backing to THREATEN attacking Iraq"

The biggest problem though, is that the orchestration of building up a case to go into Iraq was so apparent to me, why didn't Washington see it? Or were they in such a mindset after 9/11 that they gave every possible consideration to Bush that he was going to do the right thing?????? I remember how stunned we all were and how everybody bent over backwards to unite....Bushco in their most contemptible way took full advantage of it AND that is what I find the MOST egregious. The fucktards attacked a country that didn't do anything to us and is in the process of being responsible for tens of thousands of lives being lost and countless more being destroyed, while using our brave young troops to commit the atrocities and needlessly sacrificing their lives, limbs and peace of mind to do it.

I might overlook Biden or other that voted yes on the IWR, but what the next hurdle is .....HOW FUCKING LONG DID IT TAKE FOR THEM TO REALIZE THAT THEY WERE DUPED?......
That is where Hillary and Edwards fall off the radar. Their learning curve is way to slow for an aspiring POTUS.

Like you I most likely will support any Dem in the General, but in the Primary, I will definety pick and choose using my first measure....How did they vote on the IWR, followed by a quick, and how long did it take for them to figure out that they fucked up.

5. If it were down to Biden or Hillary, I'd vote for JB in a New York minute!

I didn't catch him on Hardball.. but I caught him briefly today on one of the other MSNBC programs.

Or maybe it was CNN. I dunno.. I was only home for about 15 minutes before I had to zip out again and I was listening to him more than whoever was interviewing him..

I didn't see the entire segment with him -- but from the little bit I did catch; he was doing a great job!!

7. The idea of the dueling U tubes is good
but I would be happier if it were on a neutral site and the U tubes provided by each campaign. This lets Biden's people take his most effective statement and place it against outdated or less effective statements for the others.

This would be incredible on an independent site - especially if it was done on the whole range of issues.

8. Smart idea
Even if it can be manipulated through cherry picking - still smart.
