What does Teresa do if the infidelity story is true?
Edited on Thu Feb-12-04 12:16 PM by ringmastery
She's not a Hillary Clinton type that stands by her man.

I could see her holding a tv press conference speaking frankly about the infidelity and embarrassing Kerry to no end. She may even divorce him over it.

That would probably kill his campaign. I think it all depends on what Teresa does. Does she stand by her man or go for the jugular?

1. I think she'll hold her ground ...
If this is true, she's probably known about it for a while; and considering she wouldn't become a pauper if she divorced him, I don't see him leaving.

3. I wouldn't want to be on her shit list, that's for sure.
I don't know what she would do if it's true, but if I were Kerry, I wouldn't want to find out.

5. is there any way that we can stop spamming GD
with allegations from Drudge, even before DRUDGE himself has any details? how many times has he been wrong? this is ridiculous, people need to chill out and wait for the dust to settle a bit IMHO...

20. AMEN to that...
Seems that Drudge has already won.

Later we'll be reading things that start "Rush said ___about Kerry" and "Hannity said ____ about the affair" and "Coulter said ____ about the intern."

Some of us come to DU to get AWAY from the repuke lies and spin. Sadly, a lot of it gets carried here, thus giving those wackos legitimacy.

She will shoot his balls off.

She hasn't yet, which means that there is not substance to the Sludge story.

11. Just have his things sent to his office, and change the locks

Politics being what it is, she should probably take a VERY quiet trip, confiding only in a close family member or lifelong friend as to her whereabouts.

She does not strike me as the kind of woman who has a lot of interest in discussing her personal life with the news media.

while he himself was a low level staffer or something.

21. Report is "recent" - if true, what the hell was Kerry thinking?
Why can't these men control themselves once they decide to run for President? This is an upside-downside issue. Again -- if true -- was an affair worth dragging our party through another Bill Clinton nightmare, possibly losing the Presidency for us, and marginalizing one's own long and distinguished political career? If true, it's not a red-state moral issue to me, but an issue of judgment and stupidity.

25. It's a men in power thing...
...every boss/owner/president, and I mean every top honcho I've ever worked has had infidelity problems. Okay, probably alot of men do, but there's something about people who want their ego stroked. Kerry has a wife who's obviously in do way indebted to him...she may not have any desire to stroke his rather large ego. An underling or intern is the perfect victim for psychological stroking.
One of the reasons I love Dean and his wife, they truly have an equal marriage.
