Is anyone botherd by how few debates there have been lately?
I thought that it was rediculous that we had several weeks where it seemed like there was a debate every other day, and yet once the primaries and caucuses got started, there have been almost none. In this primary season, basically everyone outside of Iowa and New Hampshire hasn't had a chance to see the candidates debate unless they were paying attention before. Most people admit that they are typically undecided, and usually don't decide on a candidate until a week before the primary.

Do you think for a minute Rove will let this goober loose in front of a teevee camera again? Forget it. There will be a hundred excuses why Bush won't debate, but in the end...he won't debate. He can't form a coherent sentence, and a debate will nail his coffin, if it isn't already pretty much nailed.

2. Yes, bugs me.
Seems everyone's mind is being made up for them. :-( At least it gave a chance to see them.

3. Also, I am bother about how little coverage
Dr. Dean has received lately as well.

The newspapers have been very quiet along with the TV coverage, which would leave people to think that his campaign has fizzeled.

That is why it was very shocking for me to read on DU this morning how much money his campaign has raised, just in the last week.

I don't get it.

4. Just another example of the media's push to rid the world of Dean
And it's a real shame. He's the only DEM with a true vision for the party and one of a select few who could really stand up to shrub on the important issues.

9. Dean not in the press?

How would you like to be Kucinich who is ignored all together. I see the other candidates are going more toward the left since Kucinich is what Democrats want right now.

Dennis wins all the on line polls for Democrats but gets no coverage.

We should still see debates because the issues are changing to be what the people want as the candidates go around the country.

The winner will debate Bush after the Boston convention.

5. It's regrettable but natural
During the Iowa and New Hampshire campaigns, the candidates are more or less all congregated in the same place. As the campaign moves on, they scatter around the country and it becomes much harder to get them together for debates.

8. debates on MSNBC upcoming
on 2/15 and 2/22.

Last debates were 1/29 in SC and 1/22 in NH.

Two whole weeks without a debate.
Can't say I'm bothered.
