Pat Robertson's university grads have infiltrated the US Govt.

In addition to Monica Goodling, there are more than 150 graduates of Regent University serving in the Bush Administration.

3. They've been grooming them for years. Govt employees on all
levels including if not especially, in humble civic positions. Judges, lawyers, editors, journalists, school boards. They've been on the grooming table for years. Years. Very sneaky. Dems and Independents must copy the policy.

4. Patrick Henry College
has also made sizable penetrations into our government with a Dominionist objective. Patrick Henry College trains formerly homeschooled students with the skills to flourish in the public sector, then Patrick Henry places the students in internships throughout the government. In one year Patrick Henry put 7 students in White House internships alone.

11. Yeah, I knew they were in this Mis-administration.
But not to that degree.

And, like Xchrom says, Liberty University is just as nutso.

Makes me feel better about going to Central Missouri.

It wasn't exactly Cornell, but hey, we had to learn to think for ourselves.

This is sure getting interesting, ain't it Ms. Fooj?

;) Have some

7. Ideal credentials ...
the marriage of robotic loyalty and political naivete. Be interesting to see the how the lessons in Omerta work out for her. She'll probably notice a lot it of coming her way from people who arranged to leave her fingerprints all over the place...

The Yurica report has great info on the motivations of the Dominionist crowd. They are one scary bunch and stark raving loony.

18. It seems that Madrassas create breeding grounds
for fundamentalist whackos.

I don't give a rat's ass if they want to move to Montana and become survivalists, but they have no business in government where they are merging radical fundamental christianity with government.

22. Then he found the right well of 'talent' for him, I suppose. Too bad he
has never appreciated different points of view, but that's how he conducts his 'diplomacy' as well.
I'm getting tired of "us" against the world.

23. This is why the Republicans were so
sure they would be in control of government for next 50 years.
Remember K Rove's grand prediction when they first came to
office.

They put people in office at local level, school boards
etc. giving them experience for more significant offices
later.

24. actually, that's a pretty de minimis number
First, the claim that 150 Regent U grads are working in the bush administration comes from Regent U itself, so I'll take it with a grain of salt. Second, depending on how you define the bush admin, its a drop in the bucket. There are over 1.5 million civilian employees in the executive branch of the government, with over a quarter million in DC alone. I'd bet that Regent isn't in the top 10 of universities with graduates "working" in the bush administration (heck, one-third of the bush cabinet attended Harvard either for undergrad or grad school).
