An example of the FBI's exceeding authority to get private information
Not sure whether this has already been posted but thought it was interesting

a letter to the editor of the washington post, which was made anonymous, because the writer is under a gag order by the FBI because of his involvement in one of the document requested the FBI made of an ISP of private citizens' information. Check it out.
