Edwards and Dean supporters, no Kerry supporters allowed

Convince this former Clark supporter who to vote for...

I don't like Kerry or what he stands for, so Kerry supporters don't respond.

Kucinich, cool cat, but ahead of his time, so those supporters, you rock, but I need to decide between those two above.

If this isn't the right place to post this, then close thread.

1. heres my story
Edited on Thu Feb-12-04 01:34 AM by ProudToBeLiberal
The more I researched on Howard Dean the more I liked. I found out to my joy that as a governor, he turned a budget deficit in Vermont into a surplus. He balanced his state's budget 11 years in a row. He cut taxes twice. He raised the minimum wage. He provided health coverage to 99% of his state's children from birth to age 18. He instituted prescription drug coverage to 33% of seniors. I was wooed by all the accomplishments he did.

I liked Howard Dean's message of what he was going to do if he was elected President. He said he was going to give the 43 million people uninsured an opportunity to health care. He said that he was going to balance the budget. He said that he was going to give seniors opportunities to get cheaper drugs. He said that he'd give people a reason to vote. I suddenly thought, "How is he going to accomplish this when he's going to be tied to special interest groups." "He has to get his money somewhere so isn't he going to be a puppet for the corporate America?" I thought. But then I went to his website DeanForAmerica.com and found out that his average donation was 75 dollars and all this money was from people like me. No special interest groups was involved.

"Wow," I thought excitedly. We can have real institutional change in America. We can have hope again. We can bring back America to its glory because Howard Dean will do what he said. He doesn't have any strings attached.

This is how I fell in love with Howard Dean. This is my story. I urge you to support Howard Dean
